PR Director Christina was born in Philadelphia, PA, with the likes of Boyz II Men, Will Smith, Kevin Bacon, Kobe Bryant, and that guy"Angel" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She went to Central H.S. in Philadelphia, where she spearheaded the school's weekly news show entitled Central Broadcast News. While doing the news she worked to polish her resume by interning at WIOQfm, a Top40 radio station in her hometown. She got accepted to New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts where she majored in Film/TV. In 1996 she ventured to Los Angeles as director's assistant on an upcoming feature film "The Debut", about a Filipino family living and learning in America. She eventually returned to New York to produce two short films of her own and graduated from NYU with a BFA in Film and a Minor degree in Asian American Studies. Christina went on to appear in a number of commercials in the Philippines as well as associate produce and co-host an internet television series for Levi's called Levi.com Semester Online. Throughout her career she has worked for various entertainment companies such as Fox Searchlight, Pseudo Programs, Buena Vista, and continues work as Public Relations Coordinator for NewFilipina. e-mail: mizztisa@aol.com |
